Boyer-Rosene Hurricane Relief

Boyer Rosene lead a massive effort to collect and distribute needed donations to victims of Hurricane Katrina.  Shown here is an interview at a local high school where students were loading a Boyer Rosene truck with items collected at the school.  Boyer Rosene provided trucks, collection bins, and personnel, then delivered the donations from over 60 locations set up at schools, churches, and businesses from 5 counties around Chicagoland.

Boyer-Rosene Donation
Boyer Rosene CEO Paul Lombardo organized a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House.  Here he and the Bekins Van Lines team award the check for over $50,000.00.  The four Ronald McDonald Houses provide a “home away from home” to keep families together while their child is receiving medical treatment far from home.

The Associated Press reports that Blagojevich’s life-size statue of Elvis Presley will go on the auction block if he doesn’t pay storage fees totaling about $3,300. Paul Lombardo, chief executive of Boyer-Rosene Moving & Storage, told AP today that the statue and the other stuff in Blagojevich’s seven storage units outside Chicago would be auctioned Aug. 19, with profits going to Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

And don't forget the auction of the ex-Guv's stuff at Boyer-Rosene Moving & Storage in Arlington Heights on August 19th at 1:00 pm, including his life-size Elvis statue!  If you missed the articles last week, he is way delinquent on his storage bills, and the storage warehouse is auctioning off 7 storage vaults full of his belongings, including many files supposedly unseen for several years...see the Trib's cover story on 7/26.
